Yamaha

A compact and lightweight entry-level digital piano that's easy to take and play where you feel like it.

The P-35 digital piano features Yamaha's Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) action which provides authentic piano touch that's suitable for the beginner pianist. Yamaha's AWM sampling technology reproduces piano tone one can only expect from a company that's been making acoustic pianos for over a century. With simple one-button operation, the P-35 has you a single press away from its best piano Voice setting. MIDI Out ports get you connected to older keyboards that might have the sound you're looking for, but lack that weighted piano touch. Use an optional MIDI interface to connect to a computer or iPad for a variety of music Apps.

Advanced Wave Memory Piano Voice
The P-35 uses AWM (Advanced Wave Memory) sampling technology. The result is a spacious, deep and rich Piano Voice that changes in both volume and tone depending on how you play.

Simple One-Button Operation
The Grand Piano button sets the P-35 to the Grand Piano Voice. Holding the button and "playing" the key beneath the Voice name selects that Voice.

Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) Weighted Piano Action
Responsive and comfortable to play for the beginner pianist. GHS keys are heavier in the low end and lighter in the high end, just like an acoustic piano.

Dual and Duo Mode
With Dual mode you can easily layer two Voices by holding the "Grand Piano" button and playing the keys under the Voice names. Duo mode splits the keyboard into two halves, each with it's own "middle C." This is perfect for group piano lessons.

Features Included accessories:
  • Footswitch
  • Music rest
  • PA-150 power adapter

Just because your starting out, doesn't mean your keyboard has to. Order a P-35 today!

Comments about Yamaha P-35 88-Key Digital Piano:

Out of 88 keys, 80 give sound. This is a glitch from Yamaha, nothing is wrong with the keyboard. It is a great learning tool for both coordination and practice. You can't use it on a stage, it's made for home. Until the keys are improved upon, home use is best. I would only recommend this for learning how to play a piano.

Comments about Yamaha P-35 88-Key Digital Piano:

I had an older Yahama PF-70 that had great realistic feel to the keys, but it had less keys, was bulkier, and WAY more heavy than this one. This baby is full size 88 keys, and feels great to play. I like the natural feel, and now that my daughter wants piano lessons, I wanted her to have a good start , unlike some of the "Toys" I had.

Comments about Yamaha P-35 88-Key Digital Piano:

I know little about pianos, however my niece needed a portable piano to start teaching new students as an occupation.. and she loves it! She has completed her music degree in college, and this was a belated graduation gift.. it's a bit heavy once the after market cover is put on, but She was a secondary major as a physical ED and physical therapy degree.. so I think she will manage..

Comments about Yamaha P-35 88-Key Digital Piano:

I teach group piano classes. This is the best keyboard I've found for the price. It sounds and feels very much like an acoustic piano. The action is consistent from one end to the other. It's a bit heavy, but still portable.
