This product is well worth it. The features outweigh the price by a long shot, it is definitely worth buying. Buy with confidence!
I used my friends PSR-273, and after hearing the different sounds and voices, I definitely plan to make it mine as well. The different piano sounds are just great and realistic.
I've owned numerous keyboards over the past 25 years as a "second instrumet" to have fun with at home including Roland, Moog & Arp synths, a Rhodes Piano and a couple of "home style" keyboards with built in accompaniment. What I've been trying to find all these years was one keyboard that had both pro-quality sounds and decent sounding accompaniment to help me practice. The PSR-273 does that and a lot more at a dirt cheap price!P.S. great MIDI features and easy computer access.
This keyboard is outstanding! The sound it creates is crystal clear. It has tons of styles and features. A great piano for learning how to play too, with the helpful lcd screen on it. You definitely get bang for your buck on this item. Very generously priced.
My bro owns this Yamaha keyboard, one word: amazing. Where can I begin? It sounds much better than the electric Yamaha pianos in my high school piano lab, which probably cost over a thousand. The piano sounds are very accurate and sound close to the real thing. The other voices sound excellent, the guitars sound like guitars, the harmonicas sound very good, and the drum sets are amazing. I like how they put little symbols above the keys so you know what you're playing when you have it on the drum function, very nice touch. The demo songs are great and I like how the lcd shows you what notes are being played even on the demo songs! It has all the basic features you'd expect and more. The only things that I can complain about are the keys aren't weighted and it doesn't have an actual pedal for sustain. I don't really use sustain on and off so it works. For the price it's AMAZING. If you want a cheap keyboard get this, you won't regret it.
It's pretty amazing that this "starter" keyboard has sounds as good as many synths just a few years ago. Effects can't be stored with the sounds though, so go to a more expensive model if you need to store presets. This is a borderline serious keyboard in toys clothing, and a great bargain for those that know you can occationally get more than you pay for. Play it through your effects units too, if you dare to be different.
one of my friends decided to get this keyboard.i played it and was blown away by how you could compare it to any other, high level keyboards i have played on before. the sounds of the trumpets, harmonicas, pianos, guitars, and woodwinds were just awesome. very good keyboard
This keyboard is really great. Has great sound from the built-in speakers or you can hook it up to seperate speakers also. Great features.
I'm overwhelmed at the quality of this instrument. It sounds great when you play it through it's own speakers-but when you plug it into a good multi-track-it's a state of the art professional keyboard!
This is a great keyboard, great sounds and voices. Hooks up to MIDI ports on a M-Audio 2496 PCI card, easily. using Cakewalk Home Studio 2001 on a PC P3 500 mhz. Great buy for getting started. Lots of options for a great low price. Nice
