I needed something to sit on while playing the guitar, so I bought this stool. This is the first stool I ever bought.
I have to say that it looks better than I expected it to. When you get done putting it together, it looks and feels solid. All four legs seem to be exactly the same length so that there is no wobble in the stool. If you sit on it and lean in different directions, it feels really solid. The seat is reasonably comfortable and looks like it would last. I'd never assembled one of these before, but mine went together pretty easily and quickly. They give you two small wrenches with the stool and that's all you really need to assemble it.
Based on what I've seen so far, I'd say to go ahead and buy one.

I haven't owned the stool that long and only used it on 3-gigs so far, can't speak for how it will hold up over time, but I'd guess well. The only thing I didn't like? The picture for assembly and instructions vs the hardware pkg. 1 extra bolt & nut left over? Of course, after looking at it a bit, it was obvious, but not pictured.
The swivel top is a great asset as my home studio is set up in an 'L' configuration. The horizontal support ring is a perfect height for me to have one leg up to rest a guitar on. The light WEIGHT is a big plus in hauling it to gigs.
Very stable, the locking nuts should keep it that way...nice touch. The swivel turns smoothly and the seat cushion is sturdy/comfortable. I've owned a few that were poorly designed, unstable, and much heavier.
Of course it would have been nice to get it for a lower price, but the sale price and free shipping made it a good deal.

I bought 4 of these, three were fine, one had quality control issues and is very uncomfortable. If you get a good one, it is great!

Wow! What a great little 'studio' stool this is. It comes with it's own tools as already mentioned & beats or meets the other stools listed @ 1/2 the price! You will not regret saving some of your hard earned cash by going with this stool over another. Just buy it already!

I want to start out by saying this is a very comfortable seat nothing more nothing less. It is very strong built and is very nice. When I ordered it I was afraid that is would be bad quality because all the rest of the seats were at least double as much but it is great quality and a great seat!

I use it to sit at the compter with and to play my guitar on. I really like it. It was pretty easy to assemble too. It came with all the tools to do so.
