I feel this is to much money to spend on a pair of basic sneakers, but time will tell.  I don't really care where they are made.  In the other reviews, I get the vibe they last forever, which may well make them worth the price.

Overall:

These are good basic shoes, feel healthy on my feet, comfortable for the miles I walk in a day, and even look kind of classic retro with jeans and a tee shirt, suit and tie or just about anything else that matches 'em.  Haven't worn 'em onstage yet, but I'm sure they'll work!  Mine are the black and white hightops, and I could have been wearin' them in the 50's, 60's, or the rest of time and they'll never go out of style.

What can I say about the features? They're shoes, what kind of shoe has what this one doesn't have? Anyway this is the best shoe I have ever worn in my entire life. Looks cool, feels cool (in the summer), and is cool. The only problem is they're so dang expensive. The shoes are great...nuff said.

I have a pair of red ones, and I also have a pair of mono blacks, and I have to say that in all of my years of buying shoes, these are my favourites.  They look awesome, very comfortable and light, the only problem I have is that they're SO expensive (for made in China)  Still awesome shoes, though.
