A little difficult to assemble for one person, but that provided for a very tight, sturdy fit once it was all together. It's very comfortable to sit on, and the design looks really nice.

The stool looks good and does look just like the photos. The problem I have with it is that the padding is really skimpy. I was looking for a padded stool for extended practice sessions, but this one doesn't have enough to keep skinny guitar players from coming away with a sore bottom.
It comes disassembled, but is easy to assemble with included tools or your own adjustable wrench, etc.
I would recommend it, so long as you're ok with the padding being just a shade better than a plain wooden stool.
