I picked up one of these for playing because I suffer from lower back pain and playing while standing all the time isn't an option for me. Shipping was fast. Assembly was very straight forward although the instructions are a little vague. I like the design, it's a sharp looking stool. I could use a little more padding but that's just me and my lower back situation.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Very cool

Comments about Fender 30" Barstool:

This retro stool looks very cool! The photo doesn't really do it justice. My fender stool came in red naughahyde sparkle sides with a red fender logo on a black seat. I'm not sure how they decide what color you get (I had thought my order would be silver sparkle siding), but I was happy to get red. A very nice accent for the music room.
