Gibson Logo Flex Cap  

Let me start by professing my undying love for Gibson guitars, accessories and, well, pretty much everything. This cap is, overall, no exception, though there are minor flaws, so I'll just go down the list and give the reasons for my ratings: on features, until I see a cap that can automatically make someone play better, I couldn't in good conscience say the features are above average. As to quality, it's of excellent, durable build, with enough stretch to conform to above-average-size heads, but enough tautness not to fly off a smaller head like mine. For value, I could get a fitted cap designed for the aforementioned smaller head (go ahead and laugh; I already am) for less, but it wouldn't say Gibson, so I'd say since I paid more to advertise for Gibson, value is just average. Finally, for my overall score of 3.5, I love Gibson, but just like the cap, and wish it came in alternate sizing. If you play Gibson guitars, or like them, or know of someone who may have stood near one, and don't have a tiny head, definitely grab one.
