A collaborative piece of art on canvas by one of the world's best drummers.
Drummer Stephen Perkins, known for his influential catalog of work with Jane's Addiction created, "Just In Time" through the new medium of capturing rhythmic performance and putting it to canvas.
Within the darkness, a light storm ensues as Perkins performs with a variety of lighted sticks to create the piece "Just in Time". Inside the abstract image, many viewers see a horse racing at full speed left-to-right. Measuring 30" x 18" on canvas, there are a total of 10 drafts of "Just in Time" available, each numbered and signed by Perkins.
About Stephen Perkins
One of the most distinct and acclaimed drummers in rock, Stephen Perkins is best known for his work with Janes Addiction and Porno For Pyros. He is also one of the first drummers to create abstract artwork from captured rhythm. In his 2012 debut collection "Time," Perkins released a total of 10 different works, each highly limited in edition size. All of the work featured within the collection is numbered and individually signed by Stephen Perkins.
