At NAMM one year, Gus Conde, one of Urbann Boards endorsers, introduced them to Virgil Donati. Urbann Boards gave him a pair so he was able to test all the technologies they developed for drummers. After a while, he told them he really liked the shoes, so they went to work designing one just for him. He chose one of the three styles made for him. Urbann Boards and Donati then decided together on the materials, colors and features. In 9 months, they had the finished product you see here.
Donati wanted a light, breathable, and strong shoe, and that's what they created. The shoe has a large mesh area on the side with parachute material inside to reinforce it. The toe is leather, for extra durability, too. Virgil's name and signature are on the back of the shoe.
