About Mahalo:

"Mahalo" is a Hawaiian word, so it's no surprise that you'll find a great selection of ukuleles at the top of this page. What you may not have expected if you aren't already familiar with the Mahalo name is the line of boutique guitar amplifiers that really have the spotlight here. It's almost as though Mahalo has two sides: the casual, fun-loving uke workshop and the seriously world class (but still plenty of fun) guitar amp studio. Whichever one interests you, you can count on Mahalo to deliver impressive performance with all their instruments and gear.

What Mahalo's ukuleles prove more than anything else is that you don't need to break the bank to get an excellent uke. From the exceptionally affordable U-30 Painted Soprano Ukulele to the professional U-350 Deluxe Soprano Ukulele, they're all well within the reach of any musician who wants an instrument that's full of character and sounds great. There are even some more exotic instruments, like the U-320P Deluxe Pineapple Soprano Ukulele or the MLP-100 Lap Steel Guitar, if you want a unique uke or something entirely different.

When it comes to amplifiers, Mahalo puts performance and build quality above all other priorities. That's why their amps have become favorites for bands like Jason Mraz, Collective Soul, Blackberry Smoke and Fuel. In fact, when he's not playing a certain pirate on the silver screen, even Johnny Depp plays Mahalo: his amp of choice is the AEM50. You'll find plenty of combo amps here, like the Katy 66, as well as a drool-inducing lineup of boutique heads and cabinets from the DR20 and VMW 38w to the Mahalo Horizontal 2x12 and B Style 4x12 Guitar Cabinets.

If anybody ever asks you what the humble ukulele and the ultra-competitive world of guitar amps could possibly have in common, you'll have an answer for them: Mahalo. In Hawaiian, it means "thank you," which is a good name for the ukes, amplifiers and cabinets in this section... because you'll certainly be thankful for the uncompromising design of any Mahalo gear you decide to add to your collection today.
