    Good Heads as always

    These heads are really good. We keep our bass drums sitting in a room and 50% of the time and these haven't gone out of tune yet. The only problem (if it even is a problem) is that you can't really hear the attack when using these you can only hear the tones

    the only serious option in marching bass heads

    Comments about Evans MX1 White Marching Bass Drum Head:

    This by far the best of the marching bass drumhead available today. The sound is very versatile and customizable. I like these over any of the Remo Pinstripes or Smooth Whites I've used in past experience, which tend to be a bit to tinny for my taste. The EVANS heads are a real time saver with the muffling system, no more weather strips or foam. Plus the number of tonal options the muffling system provides is unmatched. If you are searching for a very warm, musical sounding head for marching basses look no further than here. They may cost more than others, but I always follow the old saying you get what you pay for. And these heads are extremely durable and resiliant which some of the Remo's aren't especially the Ebony Series. Really I can't say much else than to buy these and don't mess with anything else if you are in the market. Did I mention that they sound good both indoors and outdoors.
