    The Mapex Quantum multi-toms are marching drums that feature interior plies of walnut for superior warmth that results in better projection of tone and pitch. This shell combined with the deep progressive cut produces a loud, full, and dark overall sound that doesn't get choked at high tension. The lightweight aluminum tube style lug minimizes hardware to shell contact, and creates an overall appearance that corresponds nicely to the Quantum snares and bass drums

    My school just got these quints with the Mapex Quantum series of drums. These things are awesome! Even though they are a little pricey they are worth it. Our halftime show has never been better...Buy them!
