Comments about Remo Marching Pinstripe Propack Drumhead Set:

Remo pinstripe heads have been used for the last 20+ years as the standard head on marching tenors (quads). There is a reason DCI corps, colleges, and high schools continue to use these heads to this day. If you are looking at replacing tenor heads you can't go wrong with pinstripes.

Overall durability is good. This head has a two ply construction sealed together with oil and crimped into the ring. As with all plastic marching heads, they will stretch, require retuning, and eventually break or go dead. It is pretty standard to need replacing at least once during a season for high school level groups and more often for college/corp.

Highely recommend these heads for any band director looking to replace marching heads.

        horrible heads

        By jon dorsey

Comments about Remo Marching Pinstripe Propack Drumhead Set:

these heads are jest horrible down to the look the durability and to the sound quality. once we put the fresh heads on got them tuned started playing and one already broke. after a while the pinstripe starts to come of if you have good zones. when you play with these heads you do not here clear not because of all the overtones. the feel of the heads are jest as bad as well. from a drummer to a drummer these heads sound better on the set then out the on a pair tenors.
me my self i hate clear tenor heads but my school went with a change and weve all regrated it. i hated the heads overtone.
the quility of these heads are horrible the first time i played it i broke them. i hate the overtones you cnt here clear notes you hear sounds.
