I've owned this cymbal for over a year now, and it has never failed to accommodate. I love the sound it gives, its versatility in different styles of music, and the way it plays; you can elicit so many different sounds from it depending on your technique. An excellent cymbal for a wide and expansive range of genres; I recommend this!

This crash is simply amazing. In comparison to some other crashes I've played, it's not so loud, but it has a great tone. It's unbelievable. If you give it a good whack, it opens up like magic, really bright. But if you hit it just right, it can actually be very dark. The overtones in general are very dark, especially if you've had it for a while, and they sound NICE. I've had it for six years now and it just got a crack. And you know what? It still sounds good.

This is an awesome cymbal, especially when I play rock or pop. May be too bright for someone´s taste or not having a fast response, but for the type of music I play its nice, and sometimes I play it like a powerful crash-ride, a great sound! Finally, its true that this cymbal sounds better if you use it a lot, less brigthness and get a more crashable sound (because when I first played it, sounded too heavy) Try it!

I love Zildjian cymbals but this one does just not sound good with my 18" A Medium Thin. Its very loud and very heavy. I feel its not very expressive because you cant get a good tone out of it without hitting the cymbal very loud. I would still recommend it, but really for very loud music.
