If you have a high quality acoustic or vintage guitar, you owe it to yourself to hear the difference a TUSQ saddle will make. Compared to standard materials, you'll hear crystal clear bell-like high end, big open lows, and a noticeable increase in overall sustain.

TUSQ saddles are designed to transfer the right frequencies more efficiently from the string to the guitar body, and has been proven to increase the harmonic sustain of a guitar. Acoustic guitars come alive with delicate highs and big open lows!

TUSQ is far superior in sound and appearance to synthetics such as Micarta and Corian. The high levels of heat and pressure used in making TUSQ results in its exotic ivory-like appearance.

Join those who know great guitar tone! TUSQ is used by: Martin, Taylor, Larrivee, Gibson Acoustic Guitars, Tacoma Guitars, Ovation, Rick Turner, Garrison Guitars, Breedlove, Manuel Rodriguez, Rainsong, Carvin, Landola and many, many more.

TUSQ has quickly become an important tone performance tool for many guitar manufacturers, luthiers and playing professionals around the world.

Bone and ivory have hard and soft spots (grain), throughout each piece, hampering consistent transfer of vibrations to the guitar top.

TUSQ nuts have rich tone and sustain, without the inconsistency found in ivory, bone and other natural materials.

Note: All Graph Tech nuts and saddles are slightly long and wide to ensure extra room to achieve a perfect fit for your guitar. This extra material can easily be removed with fine grit sandpaper.

Comments about Graph Tech TUSQ Acoustic Saddle Compensated Martin 3/32":

Bought a used guitar that needed some set-up. I took a new set of strings and this saddle to a Martin certified repairman, and the result is a better sounding and easier to play guitar.

Comments about Graph Tech TUSQ Acoustic Saddle Compensated Martin 3/32":

Of all the sadle replacements out there this one seemes to be one of the better (man made) ones. I have not tried bone, and wouldn't even think of using ivory.
Mine fit just right, but in some cases you might need to sand it down just a bit if you prefer a lower action.
My guitar has good sustain and I cant hear any appreciable difference, but if you have an inexpensive guitar it might help a little. Certainly wouldn't hurt!

I got this for a Martin to finally correct the b-string intonation that drove me crazy for many years. It did that OK, not necessarily to perfection. But to my surprise, the overall tone quality of the instrument improved noticeably. Also, TUSQ was responsive and helpful in answering questions before I purchased. So a lot of bang for not a lot spent.

Better than the ones that come on the Yamaha lower priced guitars. You can hear the difference especially when recording. All you need to do is sand the lower half to match the factory height.
