I bought this viola a few years ago and played it in a few different student orchestra groups. It is not bad, it may need better quality strings and bow though. It has always been dependable and stays tuned. It is a great student instrument, it can be difficult to play if you have small hands but that is the only problem I have had with this viola

This is My second Bellafina 50.. the first came with the sound-post floating around in it as well as the second. After getting the post put in on the 1st, the sound was just OK.. The second one sounded 10X better than the 1st after it's sound post was fitted. Make sure if you buy it, check the sound post is in the instrument.. on the second one, one of the inserts for the fine tuner popped out.. not sure if it's UPS transit that bumps them around for these issues, but other than that, Every music teacher complimented on the 2 Viola's saying they were a fine instrument. Far from a professional grade, but is ample enough to play for an audience. I would reccomend this Viola for students and those looking for that kick around instrument.. also, advise a better bow as well.. The craftsmanship of the body seems to be well enough and never had problems with any splits or cracks, joint problems.. all in all, a nice viola for the price.

I was pleased with my purchase after I learned how to use it.
not sure how to rate the features, buy everything seems fine so far.
It came in good shape and for the price it plays and sounds nice.
good for the value.
