Extremely nice beginner's violin.

Comments about Bellafina Model 50 violin outfit:

I have the regular color 4/4 outfit. The violin is overall well made. The tuning pegs take a little playing with to achieve a consistent tuning, though once it is tuned it actually stays tuned. It does not come ready to play; you will need to attach the bridge and tune the loose strings. The finish on the body is decent for the price. The fingerboard is painted with black paint, and so is the chinrest; there is no ebony wood. The tailpiece is plastic. Other than that, it actually sounds great and plays very nicely for a violin at such a low cost. I had a few other options before I ordered this one, but I'm sure I made the right choice with the Model 50.
