The Florea Persoana Violin Outfit is a Romanian made instrument set up in the U.S. according to exacting specifications. Th Persoana is fully carved and graduated, and constructed using a seasoned Carpathian spruce top and seasoned Carpathian maple back and side. Features satin nitro lacquer finish, inlaid purfling, all ebony fittings, D’Addario Prelude strings, four Wittner tuners and figured maple bridge. Shaped case with backpack straps and wood with horsehair bow complete this exceptional beginner's outfit.

I have been taking violin for about a year now. I had a very bad starting violin and this was a major upgrade. For the money it is difficult to beat at best. The case is great quality and so is the violin. It sounds very good and I have had no problems with it keeping tune. In fact it tunes very easily (I had bought peg drops in case but have yet to use them). I did run into an issue where the bow sent with mine was the wrong size; however, it was a manufacturers issue and after a quick call the customer service the correct bow was sent at no charge which just shows great customer service. Definitly a buy if this is in your price range!

This is barely a violin. when my student got this I was shocked. No adjustment are done. Doesnt stay in tune. Fine tuners stopped working, case fell apart. This will ruin your childs orchestra expirience. Tell you the truth, a nice chinese violin would blow this out of the water. DO NOT BUY. I would try atlantic strings.
