Violin Bow

By Thomas Scotton

from Tennessee

Comments about Glaesel GL-2212 4/4 Violin Brazilwood Bow:

The bow didn't quite grab the strings as well as I would like, yet be flexible enough to switch from string to string without difficulty. I'm not so certain that the quality of how it made is the best either. I'm assuming this price is not a reasonable price for a Violin bow. Maybe someone else can shine some light on that.
Not bad, but not exactly what I'm looking for. I was not completely satisfied with how it handles over all.
The quality was basic, if that be the appropriate term for a Violin bow. If I thought an upgrade would come closer to meeting my need, then I would upgrade.
I would probably say a 5 or maybe 6. It does well compared to some of the others I've used.

Poor craftmanship.

Comments about Glaesel GL-2212 4/4 Violin Brazilwood Bow:

This bow fell apart in under 2 months. Poor quality and workmanship. I bought it for my high school daughter to play in orchestra, less than two months into the school year I have to purchase another.

great for guitar players

By Blake-BCags

from Melbourne, FL

Comments about Glaesel GL-2212 4/4 Violin Brazilwood Bow:

I am no violin player, but I play guitar and I use this bow for guitar (Jimmy Page style) and I love it. It sounds good with a phaser sound effect. But it is very important you get rosin, or you wont get any sound.
