      I bought this for a friend of mine whose 6 year old daughter is taking lessons and whose bow was in very poor condition. It was much less expensive than having the other bow rehaired.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      I like my new fiberglass violin bow (by 11 year old)

      Comments about Glasser Fiberglass Violin Bow with Wire Grip:

      All in all, the bow was made well. My only complaint is the many rubs of rosin that you have to put on it, but I think that is required for any brand new bow.
      The violin bow is smooth and easy to play music with. However, you have to put many coats of rosin on it before it sounds fine, but I think any new bow requires a lot of rosin at first.
      The bow fits in my case and has not gotten a scratch on it. The bow also tightens and loosens its strings well, because you can actually feel at the tip when it's tight enough.
