I love this violin! At first I was like "What..?" because it was my first violin and I didn't think it'd be so light, but it's very playable and very nice :] I haven't had any trouble with it (besides popping one string on my first time tuning.. hehe). I do wish that it would sound a bit better recorded, but oh well. It's just here for me to learn on until I'm ready for a very costly violin :) The price was also very reasonable! I love it :D
This was one of the best B-days ever I'm 14 years old and just love this violen which is my 3rd and the best one yet. I recomend this for Beginners and intermidiate pllayers it has a great sound and comes in very good quality. I'm happy to own it!
When I read the reviews on this website for this violin, I thought it was going to be an excellent violin so I bought it. Instead, when the violin showed up and I started tuning it, the bridge kept popping out and the tailpiece slid out of place. Either the manufacturer's at Josef Lazar put my violin together very poorly, or it was warped during shipping. I sent it back and I don't miss it one bit. Bottom line, I would NOT buy this violin.
This was a Christmas present for myself from my parents. I'm 21 and (even though I'm starting to learn late) I've always wanted to learn how to play the violin. I thought this would be a good place to start being a beginner. I was right. The sound is awesome. The look is really nice. I pretty much got all I wanted in this product. I highly recommend it.
I bought this violin for someone else and had a hard time giving it away, it has a very clear voice and the finish is much lighter than pictured. I did have to use a dark rosin to start on the bow. overall, I would say anyone that chooses this instrument will play on it for years.
