Lightweight and Wired!
Each violin is set up at the Meisel shop and carefully inspected to assure tonal accuracy
The 6000E E-Fusion Violin's highly accurate violin sound is produced by a quality Piezo transducer in the bridge. A built-in preamp provides plenty of output!
Electric violins are being used more frequently by today's jazz, country and rock players. The 6000E E-Fusion Violin is aimed at this market," said Neil Lilien, president of Meisel. "With this instrument, musicians can get the electric sound they want, without sacrificing the violin's rich, acoustic qualities.
In addition to combining the best of the electric and acoustic sounds, the 6000E E-Fusion Violin has successfully fused the contemporary and traditional in its design. Extremely lightweight and easy to handle, the violin features a unique shape by award winning designer Rich Roland of NEO Products, Inc. It is available in a beautiful natural wood grain finish. Other less traditional finishes are also available, including black, metallic red and antique sunburst.
With the debut of the 6000E E-Fusion Electric Violin, Meisel is building on the success of another electric stringed instrument that the company recently introduced -- the 8000E E-Fusion Acoustic-Electric Double Bass. Featuring a slim body that is 55% less deep than a full-sized bass, the 8000E E-Fusion has enjoyed a strong reception among both students and professional musicians.
There is a growing trend toward electric stringed instruments that are more portable," said Lilien. "Our 8000E E-Fusion Double Bass is a prime example -- it has sold exceptionally well, and we expect the 6000E E-Fusion Violin to duplicate this success."
