Comments about Nagoya Suzuki Model 220 Violin:

This is a good violin for the money. It looks nice and has a rich sound. My only complaint is that it should have been set up and adjusted before shipping. I'm a novice player and had to have my instuctor make the necessary adjustments for me.

Comments about Nagoya Suzuki Model 220 Violin:

My son is taking Suzuki lesson here in Japan. His Sensei could not believe the price! In Japan where they are made the teacher said they run about five hundred. He was so impressed with the price and said that Suzuki is great quality! If you are considering this violin get the Kaces Deluxe Violin Case 1/4 Size (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/orchestral-strings/kaces-deluxe-violin-case/471012000903000). The Bellafina Featherweight case does not fit this violin.

Comments about Nagoya Suzuki Model 220 Violin:

I bought this violin for my daughter (13 y.o.), she has been playing violin for about two years. This violin has a very rich sound and looks very nice. I would only suggest Musicians Friend to pack these instruments more carefully with foam around them to better protect them. The violin arrived in good condition despite the poor packaging (it came in a cardboard box which was inside a bigger box with some paper as filling). These are fine instruments and should be better protected when shipped.
When you buy this violin it is only the instrument, you have to buy the bow and case separately but it is worth it. I am very happy with this purchase and my daughter is very happy playing this violin. Definitely recommended.
