Old Fiddler Strings

After reading several reviews that recommended Dominant violin strings, I installed the G,D,andA strings on my violin. I was extremely disappoiinted. I could not get a good sound out of them and the volume was very muted. I seems ass though my bow would skip across the strings. Perhaps I was doing something wrong. Anyway, I decided to try these strings. I am happy to report much better resorts. Better tone, more volume, and easier to play.
