Very impressed by the sound that came out of this violin when I first plugged it in. Very big upgrade over anything I've used before. Great country sound. [@]. Sounds great acoustic jamming and for large venues alike.

I received my Realist RV Pro 5-string today. Played it this evening for open mic, absolutely awesome. Excellent resonance, warm, clear sound, easy to adapt coming from a 4-string fiddle. Tried it direct to amp and with a pre-amp (L.R. Baggs Paracoustic DI). Excellent tone, good for real violin sound amplified with a folk band as well as great effects response in alternative rock band. Very happy/satisfied with the purchase. Came in a nice Realist Pro case. Original strings were slightly oxidized but I changed them immediately to my preferred D'Addario Helicore (except for the C string). I absolutely recommend it!
