For it's price, this I highly recommend this bow. Plus, if you are into light-weight bows, this bow is very light and easy to manipulate, and has a nice, dark color to it. The only thing I have to complain about is the bow hair, which at first was popping rather easily, but it seems to be fine now. Very good bow and very economic.

I ordered one of these bows to put with a old vintage Nippon student violin to sell, and I must say the quality of the bow is outstanding.
The stick is painted matte black, apparently of fiberglass composition, with a nice grip and perfectly straight with good tracking. The balance, weight and camber were correct and it is well-fitted, with a VERY nice fully-lined ebony frog with nice pearl slide and Parisian eye (usually found on higher-priced bows) and the generous white horsehair seems to be of good quality and is evenly attached. It takes rosin well, and plays and feels good, so for the price I don't see how you can beat this bow for student or intermediate use, or even for a back-up bow to carry in your case.
I liked it so well that I ordered a couple of 4/4 sized versions to keep around for backup and for teaching purposes. These bows handle almost as well as much higher-priced carbon-fiber import models, so for about half the cost of a rehair you should try one for yourself. If these bows were double the price, it would still be a good deal.

The bow is stunning, compared to its class. The pearloid on the screw button and wire winding add a special touch to this bow. It replaces another bow that cost much more, but sounded much worse--it's a good thing the other bow finally broke so I would have to buy this one!
This bow rosined quickly and played beautifully. Unless you are dead-set on a Brazillian wood bow rather than fiberglass, then you can't beat this one. It really did leave me scratching my head, wondering, "How did they do that?" on value for performance. You don't get pleasantly surprised like this too often in life!

The low price may mislead some to think it is not worth trying, for less than the cost of re-hairing a bow, I would say give it a try and see what you think. This would make an excellent bow for a beginner and a good backup for emergencies. When practicing I like to work with several different bows to develop an adaptive nature and appreciate my primary bow's capability. Although these bows do not compare to a premium bow they are a really good value.
