Somewhat heavy

Comments about Viva La Musica Violin Shoulder Rests:

I used this shoulder rest for a few years before replacing it with the MachOne...This shoulder rest was built well--the padding stayed like new after a couple of years of use, the brass fittings stayed bright, and the wood still looks new. However, the rest never did fit my violin properly, despite it being "adjustable". Also, the rubber tips wore out extremely quickly and were hard to replace, and caused more than one scratch on the body of my violin from slipping off. Not only that, but the weight became extremely uncomfortable after less than an hour of playing (and I sometimes had to play for several hours a day) and caused considerable neck and shoulder pain. This rest is good for some people, but it just didn't work for me.
