Comments about Wittner Violin "Ultra" (Plastic) Tailpiece:

I am amazed at the improvement this tailpiece has provided on three violins I have put it on. In my limited experience, a solid wood ebony or rosewood tailpiece has no place on a violin. This super light-weight one gives vastly improved tone and response. Although the photo doesn't show it, the tail gut hanger is included. If you're not happy with your sound, try this before trying expensive strings.
