Easy to use spring loaded clip with enough pressure to keep a mic in place. The swivel goose neck is a great feature that allows you to position your mic in any direction. I've used these specific clips on many different kits with ease. Only one time over the past 6 years have I encountered a problem where the spring loaded clip on did not fit the rim a drum, that was on a custom set of Shine Drums. With the goose neck however, I was able to clip the mic on a seperate drum piece and bend it to where it should be.

If you don't use these to clip your mics on drums then what are you using???

Despite the relaltive ease of attachement the mic holder places the drum mike considerably inside the drum head making it difficult to play in various positions. They are difficult to position correctly as the upright arm is stiff and not very flexible. Audix makes a nice set of "clip-on" holders which are much easier to use than these...the one's I use came with the drum mic set. If you can find these..Use 'em. They are much easier to use and more flexible. My D-vic holders are going back up for sale on e-bay..

            AWESOME

Comments about Audix D-Vice Drum Microphone Clip:

I bought two because I couldn't afford them for all five of my toms. These things are awesome! If your reading this then you probably know how annoying cheap drum mic clips can be, like the ones that come in drum mic packs. Sturdy, stiff, and flexible, you can get these on any drum (including die-cast hoops) with any angle and they don't budge. They work with any mic, assuming you have the actual clip that holds the mic. Highly recommended for those tight spaces on a kit.

            Great Drum Mic Clips!

            By humblebassplayer

            from Undisclosed

Comments about Audix D-Vice Drum Microphone Clip:

I use these quite frequently and haven't had a problem with them yet. The goose neck adapter makes it quick and easy to adjust so my drummer doesn't hit my mics, yet I still get great mic placement. My only complaint would be the price, but overall I find them worth it.

            Decent mic clips!

            By tonydizzle

            from West Texas

Comments about Audix D-Vice Drum Microphone Clip:

I gig frequently and have had no problems mounting, positioning, or tightening these clips. Construction is fine, easy on and off, lots of possible positions. Mic will not move if you put it on right. It is a little overpriced, IMO. An overall good product.

            Filmsy and breakable

            By Kevin Mc.-CNNOH

            from Nevada City, CA

Comments about Audix D-Vice Drum Microphone Clip:

I bought one of these and upon mounting it for the first time - it broke. It was not defective, just really really cheap plastic parts. If you tighten it just a little it's flimsy. If you tighten it enough - it breaks. For the same money there are better stands.
