This is great deal and I've been using it for some time now and it's holding up real well.. The construction is sturdy, the gooseneck is thicker than other models I've seen and holds well. I especially like the double mesh screen, which is a plus as others I've seen have only the single mesh which isn't as effective in filtering out pops.

I never liked Nady products, but I figured for the price, I'd give the Nady MPF-6 pop filter a shot. Well, the filter itself works. That's about all I can say for it. Getting the arm to stay in place takes an act of congress. I doubt Pam Anderson could keep this thing up. This thing does little more than some duct take, a wire clothes hanger, and a pair of your mommy's nylons.Probably could have got the cheaper one and had the same (or better) result.Oh well. I should have listened to my own advice. My home studio shant suffer, and I won't let if affect my performance.

          Only one flaw

The pop filter and the clamp work great - the flexibble gooseneck does not hold its position well. I would spend more next time for a better gooseneck.
Pop filter and clamp are good - gooseneck is weak.

          Decent

This is a double pop filter, which I'm surprised isn't in the product description. The filter seems like it might pop out easily (as described by another reviewer), and yes the neck is a pain to position. For the price though, it's worth the extra 5 seconds to position the thing.

          Poorly designed

          Comments about Nady Pop Filter:

Look at the photo. Where is the majority of the weight held? These things fall apart very qickly because of that design flaw. Some, at this price are welded: no difference. If one does any recording at all, you can SAVE money by spending for a properly engineered pop screen!

          Complete piece of JUNK!

          Comments about Nady Pop Filter:

I just got this today and I'm totally dissatisfied with it. First off the goose neck does not hold it's position very well. It keeps drifting down from the original placement. It's not very tight. Second, the clamping system is not very good either. It's very cheap. Actually the whole thing is just cheap. Poor material quality. Although it will work with some adjustments I would recommend paying a little more for a better one.

          Worth the buy

          Comments about Nady Pop Filter:

I didn't think I would absolutely need one of these, nor did I think they did a whole lot, but I was wrong. While it doesn't completely elliminate pops and clicks, it reduces them to a manageable level, and if you position yourself correctly, you shouldn't hear anything at all as far as pops or clicks. My only complaint is that the gooseneck doesn't always stay in the same spot due to the base being somewhat loose. Other than that, it's perfect. Protects your mic in so many ways, you really do need one.

          Comments about Nady Pop Filter:

This is an exceptional pop filter for the price. It's the cheapest one in its category but it does exactly what it is designed to do. It filters out plosives, moves exactly where you need it to, stays put once it's there. It even has a rubber boot on the clamp to protect the finish on the mic stand. Bottom line - all of the features and flexibility of the higher priced filters at a fraction of the price.

I've owned this thing for a while and have had NO problems with it. The flexible arm that some people have troubles with hasn't been a problem at all for me. it always stays where i put it without doing the 'slowing going limp' thing. if it ever does, i'll just do what others on this site have suggested and put something like a coathanger in the tubing that's more ridged. cheap fix for an already cheap product that does what it's supposed to do really well. not much more to say.

          Definitely Worth the Money

          Comments about Nady Pop Filter:

This pop filter has a nice strong gooseneck. The screw is capped with a plastic grip so the it doesn't dig into the mic stand like other pop filters. Padding on the side opposite the screw would be nice, but a rubber band that is fitted tightly around it makes a nice grip. (Just use the one that keeps the gooseneck folded inside the package.) The best thing about this is that it has 2 layers. (one on each side of the hoop) I have seen more expensive pop filters that only have one layer. I will definitely buy more of these.
