An excellent replacement when required but not for the inexperienced. If replacement needed and not sure of installation, consult a professional.

Comments about Ernie Ball 250K Pot for Mono Volume Pedal Jr.:

This is the primary component of the EBVP jr pedal, and the only moving part. The spring, and the kevlar string will last a long time if you don't keep messing with them, but the pot seems prone to failure. I had crackling through the signal chain after only 6 months. Sprayed it out with non-chlorinated brake cleaner and it was fine for another 3 months, then the noise returned. Sprayed it with DeOxit D5 the second time and it worked OK another month before it started sticking. It finally jammed completely and would not turn so I had to order this replacement. While it is very aggrivating to take it apart and get it all back together correctly, I have to admit that the end result was worth it. This pedal is very smooth and the sweep is more gradual than any of the other pedals I've tried. I thought I would just fix it and keep it as a backup, but I actually use it as my primary and have an optical pedal for backup that I don't like quite as much. We'll see how long it lasts this time.

Comments about Ernie Ball 250K Pot for Mono Volume Pedal Jr.:

After trying several other pots to replace the scratchy one in my Ernie Ball VP JR, this is the only one I could get to fit (shaft length, and threaded section, as well as travel)
