Guitar Of The Week:Gibson Sparrow Acoustic Guitar - Rosewood Body & Adirondack Red Spruce Top!

The Gibson Sparrow is an exciting new model that builds on the tradition of the famous Hummingbird and Dove models from Gibson's illustrious heritage. You can definitely see the connection and cosmetic similarity to those classic models, but this guitar is a whole new bird all together. It was built to be a powerful sounding acoustic guitar with a standout voice all it's own. It has the familiar Gibson square-shoulder shaped body, but uniquely features 1930's "Advanced" bracing, a select Indian Rosewood body with Adirondack Spruce Top, and a 25 1/2" long scale neck to set it apart tonally! These top-grade tone woods and scalloped, forward-shifted bracing pattern come together to create a real cannon of an acoustic, with a rich, full sound that completely envelops you in pure tonal bliss when you play it. It is extremely versatile and works for all sorts of musical styles! Whether you're a singer/songwriter, solo instrumentalist, or group player, the Gibson Sparrow can be your "go to" instrument. The custom engraved pickguard and unique decorative top purfling/binding further distinquish this fine instrument and adds to its collectible appeal.
As one of the Private Reserve team members, I'm proud to say that I personally developed the original concept for this fine model. I even worked with an old high school friend to create the unique artwork for the pickguard. Gibson further refined it and ultimately created the spectacular guitar you see here. Private Reserve always strives to bring you the latest and greatest premium guitars and works closely with top guitar companies to continually up the benchmark. Try one of these rare birds today and let us know what you think!
