These headphones sound great if you run them through the right equipment that can actually power them. Such as a computer or headphone amp. ie These were not made for a mobile device. Cord is very long and durable.
What made me return these is that the headband was very uncomfortable in less than 15 min of wearing. Those bumps on the headband aren't cushion they're just hard bumps.

Just like the other reviewer says, these headphones are nice. They sound great, and feel nice when worn. My only complaint is, that they should come with a case for transporting to other sessions. At the price they sell for, that should be included.

When i heard the news that world renown producer Quincy Jones, was endorsing headphones, I had to get them. And then to find out, it was an AKG product, WOW! These headphones are absolutely amazing! They are the closest things to actual studio monitors that you can get. They are not completely sound proof though, but they are meant for STUDIO work as in mixing and recording. You get an actual frequency response with these (no bass boost). I have the Q701's, worth every penny. The openess of the headphones, and the size of them gives you a real spacey feel like monitors would. ALthough they are pricy, if you are serious about what you do, then I recomend these headphones 100%.
