Jam out with the only iPod dock designed for musicians.

JamDock is the cleanest way to integrate your iPod into your practice or live music setup. You can connect and mix in nearly any instrument including electronic drums and send your mix to the stereo outputs and headphone output.

JamDock is the first dock for iPod that was designed specifically for musicians. Nearly every musician has an iPod, but until JamDock, there has never been an easy and clean way to integrate your iPod into your practice or stage setup.

JamDock enables you to mix your iPod and your instrument and practice with headphones, amp, or PA system. You can also use your iPod to play backing tracks live. JamDock has two 1/4" inputs that work with both line-level sources and high-impedance guitars and basses. The inputs sum to mono when there is only one side present, so you'll hear your guitar on both sides of your headphones. A pair of 1/4" outputs feed your amplifier or PA system, and a 1/4" stereo output feeds your headphones.

You can use JamDock on a flat surface, such as a guitar amp, or mount it on a drum rack or stand using the e-percussion Module Mount, sold separately.

JamDock also comes with a free minusDrums music-track subscription for fun play-along sessions.

Comments about Alesis JamDock Practice Dock for iPod:

I just got mine today, very simple to use. I just plug it to my pod and im ready for a quiet night of practice without disturbing anyone. The jamdock also charges your ipod while youre using it. This is a must for jammers and cover bands musicians! Now you can practice quietly without sacrificing your sound.

Comments about Alesis JamDock Practice Dock for iPod:

The JamDoc is great, dose what is suppose to do, works with iPhone & iPod although it puts the phone in airplane mode when docked. The headphone amp is powerful and clear, the input selector works great line or amp both dose what is should. My only complaint is little pricy for what it is but it dose work well and is the only one on the market, the power adapter is rather large but & I do like it a lot.

Comments about Alesis JamDock Practice Dock for iPod:

Love this thing for jamming with Electronic drums.
I have hooked into P.A. system and the rest of the band digs it too.
If you use the Classic Ipod, it's a must have. Very happy with it.

    Perfect In My Book

Comments about Alesis JamDock Practice Dock for iPod:

I just got this today within 10 minutes I was up and running. This is by far the best practice unit out there, especially with a touch because of all the apps that are out there.TRUE you CAN NOT control the volume of the iPod when it is docked so a BASS is a little hard pressed to keep up. HOWEVER you can plug the iPod into the 2nd INPUT on the unit and control the volume on the iPod as you normally would. It still comes thru BOTH ears. NOW you can control the volume on both the BASS, iPod, and MASTER and get a CRYSTAL CLEAR MIX. PERFECT!!!The outs on it are going to be useful too for recording to my 8 Track. When docked they are cleaner sounding than thru the headphone jack.If you have an iPod then this is the way to go. Nothing against the Tascam Bass Trainers, I have owned them too. But this thing blows them away. There are free apps for the iPod Touch that slow the music down just like they do, and they work great.Like I said....PERFECTION IN MY BOOK.

    Just about a great product

    By Old Man Bass Player

    from Bay Area, CA

Comments about Alesis JamDock Practice Dock for iPod:

Nice idea, not quite there. You can't adjust the input volume on the ipod. You have to turn up the guitar input to have it play above the volume of the iPod. If you plug in a bass and turn up the input so you can hear the bass, the bass distorts the input circuit. The cure would be to turn down the input of the iPod, but there is no way to do that. It takes it full volume out of the iPod and bypasses the volume on the touch panel of the iPod.I'm sure it works great for guitar since it takes less power to make a guitar loud. But using a bass is a dissapointment. And that was the reason I bought it (to practice the bass with the iPod on business travel).
