Comments about American DJ Concept 1 DMX Scanner:
Purchased 4 American DJ Concept 1 DMX scanners and an Elation DMX Programmer. Nice product with lots of features at a low price. Installed October 1, 2004. Since then, each light has had 1 or 2 bulb replacements, even though usage levels were well below bulb life. All were fitted with Osram ELC-7's right from the factory - the first one failed after just 3 days usage, others followed within 2 months. 2 of the lights act very erratic, forgetting their position, color and gobo settings. Also purchased 2 Auto-Spot 150's, running on the same DMX line. They have performed flawlessly, no bulb issues (but they use a discharge bulb). You will get what you pay for with these units. So don't expect they will run like a Martin (not that I did). Again, great value here.
