Very bad product ,when i get the scan the motor of the mirror was broken, then the the internal motor get worst you can only see half image, i purchase one more thinking maybe is one time ocasion ,,,,,,think again the same i used the firt for spare parts and i fix the last one . I will not recomend this product if you thinkig cheap is good, don't ,save some money and buy someting better.
For the price you can't beat it. Looks like a pro light show without the big $$$$ I ahve 4 of them and they are so kewl.
For the price, you really can't go wrong. I've been using them and like them. Sure you can buy Mac250's or big Elations for $1500 but these lights give a pretty good bang for the buck. I too suggest being careful with the mounting bracket. They don't "balance" well on the truss and care should be taken when locking them down.Again....I like mine.
I bought (4) of these babies used, as part of a larger set of lights, without REALLY knowing what I was buying. I know we needed lights, and I was thinking about some of the "other" items in the lot, so I came to this item without any real clue. Luckily, the lights are super easy to configure, address and control. They wake up fast and respond almost perfectly. Very functional. HOWEVER, the handle / mounting bracket better be tight, because if you leave it above the lamp for even a second and it falls forward, then it smashes WHAM into the mirror. The handle bracket is precisely the length needed to destroy the mirror when the handle falls forward. It's like a guillotine, destructive and heart breaking. I mean, you really need the mirrors, you know, and you'd better buy a replacement fast. I ordered 3 more mirrors from American DJ (just in case!). The lights themselves are not super fancy, I don't know about how rugegd they are - I haven't owned mine long enough. But when I connect the 4 of my lights together and run them through the motions, they are just as advertised, beautiful and affordable. Have fun with them, but be careful.
