Comments about American DJ Festive Light Pak II:
It is a good bare minumum starter pack. However if you are planing to do anything serious with lights you should get a vertigo and/or some PAR cans. Decent quality lights, sturdy metal but the foam packaging isn't very good and disinigrates getting over everything. The color ball can cover a small-medium sized room but rotates very slowly with no way to change the speed so it is good for ambiance lighting but shouldn't be the main focus. The multi flower is very solid metal but the area that it covers is very small so again it shouldn't be the main focus. It has three settings: ON-still ON-moving and ON-sound activated. The color ball has one setting: ON and the strobe has ON with variable speed control. No off switches anywhere. The strobe is not very powerfull and should not really be used on any other setting than max speed. All and all you get what you pay for, good start but will not cover everything that you might need.
