This portable lighting package includes 4 Par-38A high polish PAR cans, a T20F chase controller with foot controller, 4 LL-Par38 150W lamps, an LTS-6 tripod stand, and a four-pack of color gels (green, blue, red, yellow). The equipment is designed for easy setup and take down for mobile DJs, bands, and karaoke rigs. Approximate system weight is 30 pounds.

got one of these units last week and ever since then, whenever we're practicing, we turn them on instead of a white overhead bulb. one thing that makes me rate this just 1 less is the fact that you cannot put the controller on the stand without rendering the mounting of the outside light impossible. someone may have mentioned prior to this review, that to make the controller attach better, one needs to remove the back and turn it over, then it will mount. but, it will mount much better with a c-clamp on the controller and mounted on the stand on the rear of the crossbar.
have yet to gig with it, but so far it looks good.
what a bargain! so much so, we'll be buying another one.

This is the old flood lamp style par 38 cans that are harder to find since LED has come onto the playing field. The LED style is cooler running and lasts longer before burn out but I had 1 set of this style already and wanted a second that was the same so I bought this one since it cost half as much as a comparable LED set-up and it matches my original Par 38 set-up. The 3 stars isn't for it's quality it is an okay system, it's just that LED is much better though more expensive, it is because of it's obsolete status. If your just starting a lighting set-up go with LED if you can afford it, My LED set-up is cooler ruuning and will last a long time without LED replacement needed.

These lights are awesome ! bought some about 6 months ago and liked em so much i knew i was gonna get another set . Going to have an outside event in october with karaoke cant wait ! right now i have two sets in the living room in my home and they are perfect, they go with the beat of the music nicley but could be a little more on time . but they are very bright , i tryed em out in my back yard once and was blown away on how they lit up the whole yard , for the money they are perfect.

Great beginner stage lights! They work amazing and are bright. The chase footswitch has a really long cable (about 30 ft) that helped out a lot. Does everything it says will do, I've used it at several shows already and was easily able to rise it up to 10 ft. It works great for small venues, we had it set up about 10 ft away from stage and it light up everybody on the stage. Only complaint is the mount on the chase box, but instead of just turning it upside down, I made a bracket to attach to the stand so I could easily reach the box and adjust it if need be (I'm short so I made it more accessible for me). The programs work great, if you're still reading this and trying to decide on whether to get it, I promise you it's worth the money. Definitely will get another one soon!

Overall a very nice basic setup. The knobs on the stand itself are plastic, and probably won't last long... but I think as long as I don't throw it around it will do just fine. The chase controller has the backplate installed backwards. Simply unscrew the 5 screws on the back and flip the plate over and screw it back together. You can now hang the chase pack in the middle of the bar, instead of weighing down one side of the light bar. I have 2 I plug together and it does a nice job lighting up the front of the band.

I bought this setup abouut 3 months ago and I am so impressed. The sound activated mode is wonderful. The internal mic seems really sensitive and picks up some of he slightest nuances in the music. I WILL be buying a couple more of these.

I got this from my old realtor. It was my first light set and I was so exited when I got it working. This thing is BRIGHT! as a DJ you could use this anywhere. You can see it from the outside of my house at night. The built in programs and the footswitch really add on to the awesomeness level. I do plan to add on to it, and it is a great starting point for beginners like me.

Works great for small venues. The chase box wouldn't fit on the cross bar as the instruction photo showed but I hung it upside down in the center and that seems to work fine.
