Bought two - exchanged two. You decide.
I bought this product used from a friend that used it and needed the money. I tried out the next day a gig that I was doing for a School dance. The crowd really loved it. Everybody was dancing. The next day the priniciple called me and told me that everybody was talking about the awsome light show that the DJ put on with the music. They have now booked me for the rest of the year. The way the lights move with the music is just incrediable. This light is defently worth getting and you can't beat the price.
Very good effect for the buck. Using it for four months or so with no problems. Light weight.
I added another system to my company, and I use four light shows. My other two systems have mushroom shaped lights like a Vertigo. I bought two American DJ Mini-Gressor IIs to add some variety. They were inexpensive, and they were small enough to fit two of them in a light bag. I haven?t had any problems with them, they work fine. With that being said, I only use them when I have all three shows out cause to me they don?t put out enough light for the size shows I do. It is a very noticable difference when these two are on v. my ADJ Millenium lights. While these will fit the bill, I'd recommend a vertigo or something that?s the same price but has 300watt bulbs v. 200watt. Also if you are planning on doing a multi-light shows, you should try to stick with lights that use the same bulbs anyway so don?t have to keep a stock of various bulbs on hand, and always factor the cost and AVAILABILITY of the bulb itself into your purchasing decision, you will need to replace them. If not many lights are using this bulb you may have a hard time finding them at your local DJ shop or hardware store for a late Saturday show.
im a collector of cool lighting effects.ive stocked my media room with top of the line effects and fog, just for the fun of it. but this is a must. my room would not even be the room that it is with out out this. trust me, it is soooooo worth it. fan cooled is the best. no cool down is very imporitant if you want to impress
