I am an experience lighting person and These lights have not been moved and have been in the same locations since purchased. I bought 8 of these lights and after about 100 hours of use LED's started to die. First the blue ones go then the green. 6 of the 8 can are almost dead and ADJ does not care. I called them and they were pretty rude. They got their money and thats all they seemed to care about. I have used ADJ alot in the past and this will be my last. These lights are great for awhile then they start to die. If it was one light I would say ok but 6 out of 8????

I own 26 each P64 LED by American DJ.I have used them for the last 5 years full-time over 200 gigs per year. I have only had two fixtures with a few lights go out. It looks worse than it actually is...just no longer perfectly symmetrical.When I move these (monthly) I carefully place them in my truck (holds 18 cans) face down and try to avoid large potholes, but they have taken some moderate to mid-level road abuse. I have dropped a few cans a few times and they seem to hang in there just fine.I would say that these cans are a little fragile and unless you modify the "gel holders" (What are they for...diffusion?)to protect the led lamps, you should be extra careful when transporting them.After 5 years...I have still yet to wipe them clean. I really should. I would probably notice them being a little brighter, but geez man, there are 26 of them and I will get around to it sooner or later.When I bought the first twelve cans, they were double the price they are now. I guess the [*] competition forced ADJ into a price drop. I decided to stay "All ADJ" brand cans so there will be no confusion as to what fader is assigned to which function. I always told my friends that if I could do it over knowing what I know now, I would have probably bought the offshore cheap-o [*] ones, but since the dramatic price drop there is no need to, and unless you want to make your life more miserable than it already is, I highly suggest sticking to one brand with all cans having identical functions.They are not nearly as bright as the pro models with the bigger LED, but they are also 1/3rd the price and having 3:1 makes more sense if you are on a budget and only play local clubs and medium venues.They draw about 1/10th the amperage as incandescent lights and put out absolutely no measurable heat. I have actually told a club owner that I can save him 2/3rds the cost of electricity and air conditioning compared to the "last band" that was in there.The LED lamps last about 50,000 hours which is approximately 5.7 years. Realistically in theory, if you only play 8 hours on the weekends, theoretically they hould last for over 120 years. Yes..that's right...120 years...but I'll get back to you on that one.They are very light and easier to hang on rails from a ceiling without worrying if they will fall down or damage the club.I had a return or two and ADJ was fairly prompt in service and stood behind their warranty.The A/C power cables are not removable and that's cool with me...less set up & tear-down time, but I do sometimes wish the cables were a bit longer.Easy daisy-chaining and gets along well with other DMX fixtures.Hope this is informative and a help.

I got 16 of these, put them on crossbeams for my light trees, and wired them together with 3' XLR cables. I put one light tree with 4 cans in each corner of the stage before the band sets up, and connect them with more XLR mic cords. I then use either a DMX controller or MyDMX and an old Dell laptop. Every color in the rainbow, and a white spotlight for whoever's singing, soloing, etc. They fill the stage pretty well; I understand newer, higher lux LED pars do better, but I'm not playing MSG yet. I'm a very happy customer!
There aren't that many features, other than the DMX connection. They come with gel holders, and I wondered why.. then I got some fresnel lenses at the office supply store - the kind that magnify print on a page? These help to focus the beam. Did't think of this until recently. A lot of the "dance to the music" features on the Pars I just don't use.
As long as you keep the screws tightened, and transport with care (I use MF 88 key keyboard cases), you should have no problems. I haven't in over 3 years of use. Not even a bad LED!
When these came out, the economy was bad, so I got a pretty good deal. That aside, anything that works flawlessly for 3 years is a good value.

Being new to LED DMX, I purchased one of each brand par 64 sold by M.F. This can has 6 channels which is sufficient, but is unreliable, it fails, I open the can to replace something, and it works once you shake the connections. I have redone the hot glue the manufacturer used to hold everything in place and let's see if it does better int he future.
