Comments about Applied Microphone Technology Wi-5 Instrument Wireless System:
We have a travelling Christian band and we have 1-hour long practices a day and concerts. This microphone is working out very well. So far we have not had any feedback through the sound system even while the sax is being played all over the platform.
Excellent microphone. Easy to operate.
Looks to be built well. It has very sturdy metal mounting clamp.
Expensive microphone, however, it is worth it.

Comments about Applied Microphone Technology Wi-5 Instrument Wireless System:
Had this unit for about a month and performed with 3 times and can`t find anything negative about this mic, the sound quality is the best I have ever heard on a clip mic, the sound quality is crisp and the tone of my saxophone is just as good as not having the mic at all, horn players must have this if you want to sound great and look cool on the stage, you will sound like you and not like a mic sound!
Comments about Applied Microphone Technology Wi-5 Instrument Wireless System:
I've been using the AMT Wi-5 for about a month and a half now, and it's great.I'm with the Reverend Raven and the chain smokin' altar boys blues band and we tour the midwest for the most part, we work three to five days a week and the Wi-5 has worked great where ever we've been. The beltless freedom has been wonderful but besides that this mic reproduces all the color of the tenor sax. Horn players if you want a wireless rig and want your sound to be right this is the one.
