I am a musician who has suffered from some hearing loss. The 60's and headphone recording/mixing / mastering have taken their toll on my ears. Please be careful. Watch your decibels.
I am using Art's 341 dual equalizer so that I do not have to use my hearing aids when mixing / mastering using a headphone mix.
I have set the EQ on the 341 to match the hearing prescription of my hearing aids. Each ear's frequency needs are different so the dual channel works great.
In Fact, because the 15 bands offered are more than what is available with the hearing aids, I have improved the quality of what I am hearing. Basically I have improved on my prescription.
SO this is a particular use of a fine instrument.
The device was easy to set up and is working as expected. I am pretty pleased. Hope this helps.

    A decent EQ

    By Anonymous

Comments about ART 341 Dual Channel 15-Band Equalizer:

For the low price, it is a really good EQ unit. It does exactly what an EQ should do: allow you to adjust specific frequencies without otherwise coloring your sound. It is great for both studio recording and live performances.

Comments about ART 341 Dual Channel 15-Band Equalizer:

I'm a really big fan of A.R.T. products, and this EQ is no exception. It's quiet and really simple to use. The range, level and bypass controls allow you to tailor the settings as needed and the XLR, 1/4" and RCA jacks on the rear let you use whatever kind of cables you need for your rig. In short, if you need a stereo graphic EQ, I highly recommend this one.

    Great Budget EQ

Comments about ART 341 Dual Channel 15-Band Equalizer:

The ART 341 isn't for high quality recording (though I like it fine for my budget minded home recording system) but it is very useful basic tool.
The Art 341 has all the basic features that you need for many uses.
The ART 341 does a great job for me. I perform solo as a guitarist and vocalist. I use one side to enhance my Gibson Hummingbird and the other side for my vocal channel. It tames the couple of feedback points and backs off the heavier bass tones of an amplified acoustic guitar. The sound quality is much better than if you just use your mixer's EQ controls.
The ART 341 has to be given a 10 in the value category. It's so useful for such a crazy low price.

Comments about ART 341 Dual Channel 15-Band Equalizer:

I built a 19" rack with a slanted top for a mixer. I decided I wanted the EQ on the slanted top as well but only had 1U space available, so I couldn't use my DBX 2-ch 15-band EQ there (2U). So I bought this ART EQ341 because it required only 1 slot in the rack. This EQ sounds as nice as the DBX at 40% of the price! The controls feel solid, and do what they're supposed to do. The unit itself is pretty light. One thing I really like is the EQ does NOT get hot... just slightly warm after it ran a few hours. As an amateur electronics guy, I have learned that circuits that merely manipulate line-level signals should NEVER get hot (heat is the enemy of electronics because it breaks down the parts and they eventually fail). So any signal processor that runs hot is just poorly designed. Anyway, I expect this EQ will last quite a while. And the low price is a bonus.

      GREAT EQ

      By JIMBO-_9xZM

Comments about ART 341 Dual Channel 15-Band Equalizer:

I purchased this for my home stereo receiver ( Onkyo 607) that I use for watching movies. This EQ really helped clean up the bass and add a lot to ithe system. It now makes my Polk Audio Monitor 70 toe=wers sound awesome. I am still working on the voices to clean them up a little more but overall this EQ really helped me appreciate movies alot more and makes me look forward to watching something new with great sound effects.Buy this one. You wont be disappointed.

Comments about ART 341 Dual Channel 15-Band Equalizer:

The ART 341 EQ is a superb product for home stereo use as well as live sound. I finally bought the ART 341 EQ after having a bad experience with a similar product from a nationally-known electronics shack. Unlike the Real Shackled EQ, the ART produces no 60Hz hum when plugged into a 110 volt outlet. It is quiet and easy to use. I recommend the ART 341 for anyone seeking a 15-band stereo EQ.

Comments about ART 341 Dual Channel 15-Band Equalizer:

I use it in a home sound system currently, but works for any setup. Dual 15 band is great for stereo setups in a 1 rack space size. I have several ART equalizers and find them to be noise free for me. You not only want equipment to perform but to do so without injecting unwanted noise into the signal chain. Easy to hookup and operate. Remarkably, these 341/351ART eq's are priced at entry level prices but seem to perform beyond their price range. What's not to love about these? I looked at several other brands and reviews before my purchases and I am not sorry for my choices. Highly recommend this brand and these models. I would buy again!

Comments about ART 341 Dual Channel 15-Band Equalizer:

Using it to equalize sound from my Ipod since there is no eq in my Onkyo receiver. Now at last I can adjust the frequencies to compensate for what is missing in the original source. The level adjustment is an extra bonus if the source level was low. Glad I added this Eq to my system.

Comments about ART 341 Dual Channel 15-Band Equalizer:

I like it, the only thing that I don't like is that it doesn't go all of the way to 20K. Of course most of that is just noise (hiss) anyway!
Good basic eq, It does everything that you'd want it to.
            Good!
Great value for the money. I didn't have the funds for a DBX eq. This one will work just fine!
