I have owned this Audio Choice 100w PA system for about a year now, and I have never turned it past 5. I play all instruments I can get ahold of, so I have tested this thing with everything from drums and guitar to a flute. Lets start first with the drums. Yes, if set up and used correctly, it is easy to keep up with a drum set. I jam to songs using this pa, and when I first did it I turned it up too loud and could barely hear myself play. Next is guitars. I have mic'd amps, ran them straight to the pa with line outs, used processors, and even just plugged a guitar in the input of the head. Every one of them, but the last one, sounds great. Then theres bass. Don't blast your low freq unless you get better speakers. besides that it sounds as good as the guitar.besides those 3 basics I use keyboards, synths, drum machines, and even woodwind instruments. it works for everything, and can get pretty loud. the sound is great for such a low price. My advice is this. If you are going to buy a pa system, get a cheap one, or a really nice one. If you go cheap, just buy a couple mixers and some floor monitors and your set. If you go expensive, well, the system already has all those extra things included. I personally like cheap, because I don't want to throw away money if I don't like it.

I'm usually all for the idea of "whatever gets the job done" and I'm definitely a believer in the idea that if it sounds good, price isn't important. But to be honest, from the second I turned the included mixer on, I had HORRIBLE sound no matter how much I changed the settings. From what I could see, and I'm quite experienced with live sound, I couldn't get the PA to go above about a "3" in volume without a severe drop in quality, and tons of feedback, and couldn't get a sound below that that wasn't drowned in static. However, the speakers that came with it are absolutely TERRIFIC! I hooked them up to an older P.A. and they projected pristine sound with the mixer taken to capacity.Just wanted to pass this on!

Great PA for solo musician

By Adrock

from Cincinnati, OH

I have owned this Audio Choice PA for about 4 years now and it has been a great little PA system. I play acoustic guitar and sing at restaurants, parties, etc and it has been great. We even used this PA to DJ at my wedding although we had to push it harder than we probably should have. If you are a solo musician with just a guitar and a mic you can't beat it. If you take care of your gear and get a better mic this can last for a long time and you can't beat the price!

C100

By ChildoftheKoRn

from PA

I got this guy a couple weeks ago. When i first got it i was kinda disappointed in the quality and features but hey for the price its impressive. The speaker cables are poor quality and the mic cable that comes with is only 5 feet long. i have to sing standing right next to the thing and i get alot of feedback so be prepared to get a better mic cable as well. Overall im a little disappointed but i am glad to have taken advantage of a great deal and i advise anyone else needing a PA and with little money to do the same.

Great Starter PA

By YY3LFIIBl

from CA

This is the first PA I bought when I started gigging. Very basic. No frills. Don't expect to make it sound any better than you are. for two years, tt has served me well. With its wattage, I would say it shouldn't be used in a room larger than 300 square feet. It starts crackling and clipping when pushed too hard. I traveled a lot with mine and it is just now starting to rattle a bit. Worth the price.

Excellent little system

We bought this PA for band practice. For the money this is a great little system. The sound is great and clean. It does lack in power but for the money who can complain? It's a practice pa and I love.

Best for the money

By Twras

from MPLS, MN

For the money, this is a fantastic PA! I use it as a stereo and the main speakers for my home studio. Sounds great, even though my next door neighbors don't agree. Too loud for them! When using this as a stereo, I run the CD player through a 14 band equalizer for better sound.

Small, Yet Powerful.

By L3Vi

from Muskegon, MI

I purchased one of these about a year ago, and it's still going strong. The system is small enough that I use it for a home stereo system during the week, but powerful enough that I have used it to DJ several mid-sized gigs on the weekends. I also use it to power my band, and it makes a great practice set-up.

Funny

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

This is probably the cheapest PA that you can buy. For that, its the best piece of equipment I have ever bought. Its pretty loud too, great for house parties - no one will care if you spill on the speakers. I have had it for about five years. During this time the mic cable broke the first week and one of the speaker cables is in and out. However, if you want a practice PA or something to play loud music on (not caring about sound quality) then get this for sure.
