Features:
Switchable pattern works as advertised, decibel switch does the trick, shock mount holds mic tight.
Quality:
Very solid. I've only had it for a few months so I can't comment on durability.
Value:
High marks For sound quality v price
Overall:

We have a group of 12 in our high school who do a fantastic job performing the national anthem for events. They had performed It in our gym without sound support, but really needed some amplification. I also wanted to have them perform the national anthem before football games, but only had one mic jack in front of the stands.  I was concerned whether the one mic would pic up the group.  It far exceeded my expectations! We have used it in several venues since.

I bought 2 of these from MF looking for a reasonably priced condenser microphone to record my son's jazz ensemble at live performances. I was really impressed with the clarity and quality these deliver. The brass, woods, guitars, percussion, and keyboards are all splendid running them though my PreSonus 16.4.2. For the price, they can't be beat! They also work fantastically on vocals. The switchable patterns is also a great plus. I plan on ordering a couple more just to have on hand. They will replace my 58's for vocal mics.

This mic will do everything you want, and more. I have successfully used it for vocals, acoustic instruments (guitar/upright/sax) and it sounds perfect. Amazing clarity. I was recording from the mic, through a decent Peavey mixer and into FL Studio and / or Ableton Live and / or Reason Record. Amazing mic, would recommend to anybody looking for an affordable, pro quality mic.

Excellent Studio Mic

This condenser is excellent due to the clarity that comes through the mix when this is being used. I love using this microphone on vocals, guitars, and as overheads my drum kit. Buy two of these awesome mics and use just them to mic an entire drum kit. As far as vocals go, this mic handles really punchy/high levels of spl, so I rarely worry about using a pop filter. Overall, this is a great mic to be used in the studio, I run it throught my Presonus Firestudio and with a little extra software or analog EQing, this mic sings.
