Audio-Technica's Freeway 200 Series Wireless Systems are designed to provide reliable performance, easy setup and clear, natural sound quality. Each 200 Series professional VHF wireless system includes a receiver and either a body-pack transmitter or a handheld microphone/transmitter on a specific crystal-controlled frequency. A novel dipole antenna system on the receiver improves operation by providing a ground element in addition to the usual signal element.
The ATW-R250 receiver is a compact wireless receiver for the 200 series Freeway system. The surface mounted unit features 8 selectable VHF frequencies, and diversity switching antennas. The combination of VHF, diversity operation results in fewer drop outs and noise. The rear provides both balanced and unbalanced output connections for further flexibility. It comes with a unique space saving power supply, perfect when multiple AC power supplies are employed as part of a system. The ATW-R250 also offers squelch and volume controls, 1/4 output jack, along with AF Peak, RF and Power indicator lights.
The ATW-T201 Body Pack Transmitter is a VHF bodypack transmitter for the Freeway 200 series wireless microphone system also. The transmitter accommodates compatible lavalier and head-worn microphones as well as instrument cables. Additional features include switchable RF power settings for increasing range whenever necessary.
Thw PRO 92cW wireless omnidirectional condenser headworn microphone offers a natural, smooth frequency response optimized for vocal articulation. The mic features a small condenser capsule; a lightweight, contoured earpiece; and a flexible boom that is easily repositioned for a comfortable fit. Terminated to fit Audio-Technica wireless systems, the PRO 92cW is a great headworn mic.

Comments about Audio-Technica ATW-251/H92-TH Wireless System:
I'm a recording artist looking for a Wireless headset mic and purchased this unit. It was a defect. Returned it for another one and it was also defective where the mic connects to the pack. I got the mic to work by holding the connection in a certain way and even then the performance of the unit was weak providing lots of room sound and a VERY weak signal from the mic meaning that you will need to give the channel, after the powered receiver, at least a 6-10db of gain (extra noise) to even get a descent level. When ear rapped the mic doesn't get close enough to your mouth and even when it's not ear rapped you need to point it directly facing your mouth to not pick up a lot of extra room noise. I was very dis-satisfied by it's design and performance.
