    An integral part of Audio-Technica's 2000 Series, the versatile ATW-T210a UniPak bodypack transmitter has both low- and high- impedance inputs plus a bias connection, for use with dynamic and electret condenser microphones, as well as Hi-Z instrument pickups.

Nevertheless, operating this microphone system without a license is subject to certain restrictions: the system may not cause harmful interference; it must operate at a low power level (not in excess of 50 milliwatts); and it has no protection from interference received from any other device.         I have used a pair of these for at least 750 gigs and they have performed flawlessly. I did replace one because the brass clips that hold the input connector wore out and it kept coming loose. But again this was after many hundreds of gigs.
        I use one for my headset mic and one for my guitar.

        I suspect it slightly colors the sound of my guitar, but would you believe, in a good way. It warms up the sound of my acoustic guitar and removes some of the digital "brittleness".

        Battery life with two AA batts is good and I can easily get two 3-4 hour gigs.
        It also supplies reference power to condensor mics like my Crown CM-311

        My is road worn with a bent antenna and I lost the belt clip for one but it keeps on keepin' on.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
