Did not know what to expect from the pair considering the price. Been using Shure for the longest time and was very content with the Shure brand. But must say that I was impressed with the feel (weight). Sound wasn't as full as the Shure but was more than enough for the people singing Karaoke once I adjusted mixer to the mics. Again, for the price I really don't have anything negative to say about them. Very pleased so far.

I purchased 5 M8000 mics for my music school recently, and I have to say they hold up pretty well. We use them daily for rehearsals and lessons. I would not recommend this mic for recording or any high end live performance, but fo everyday practice and jams its durable and sounds great!

Dont be fooled, as these mics are just about small bucks, and nothing in life is free, but they are definitely a great value at that. I got one of these mics for free during a promotion and have been using it over my SM58's since. Although not as durable as a 58, they have good tonal qualities, and grab more of the overall sound. Great product for the musician on a budget or as a pair of backups for the gigging musician.
