A pro solution for miking your entire drum set.
The Audix Fusion 7-pack is a high-quality, very effective drum and percussion 7-piece miking system. The Fusion 7-pack incorporates the F14 kick drum microphone - the most recently developed mic in the Fusion series. The Fusion 7 pack also features three F10 dynamics for snare and rack toms; one f12 for floor tom; and two f15 condenser mics which are ideally suited for over heads, high hat, and toys. All mics are designed with an integral clip in order to simplify set-up and storage.
Audix percussion specialist Rob Schnell states, "The Fusion series drum packs have been a huge success since their introduction in 2001. While the D series microphones continue to be our flagship products for critical live sound and studio applications, the Fusion mics offer an affordable solution for musicians and engineers who may be first time buyers or are looking to augment their mic selection."
The microphones included in the Fusion 7 Pack can be used with in conjunction with several types of innovative specialty clips from Audix: the D-vice spring-loaded tension clip for easy mounting to standard drums; the D-clamp lug-mount tension clip for hand percussion instruments; and the D-flex all purpose wide-jaw clip for rims-type mounting hardware.
The Audix Fusion 7-pack is conveniently packaged in an aluminum carrying case.
- One f14 kick drum mic

I just got these mics and they are more than worth the money. The only thing you really need is a mic holder set unless you have enough stands for all 7 mics. But, if not MF has a lot of good packages. All in all you will be happy with the mics and not be dissapointed you bought them. -Markli
I got these mics as a gift three years ago. Since then I have been using them in my home studio. Every take of drums I record with these mics are amazing! Mic'd toms require no EQ at all, and the over heads in stereo position do not either, it just sounds professional. One of my friends who also got into recording, has used my mics with me before, and when he decided to get his own, he chose the EV drum mic kit.I asked why and he said, "EV are definatly my favorite, and best drum mics!"I asked if he has ever used or heard the EV mics and he said no, which made no sense at all.In a nutshell, save yourself the trouble and get these microphones!!!
I own a set of these and use them in the studio. I also have used these many times during live events. Hands down this kit is the best performance to price value around. These mics sound great. I had no distortion during loud drummers playing and I was able to pick up even the quietest drummers. I have even used mics from this set on large and small hand percussion and it was great. The sound is clear and crisp. I never have any issues dialling in my drum sounds in the studio or live. These things can take a beating. I recently used these at a local colleges live event. Unfortunately, due to the drummers poor aim, the mics had stick marks all over them. Not a single mic failed, sounded distorted, or had any issues to speak of. I would recommend and buy these again ANYTIME.
Get these mics theyre ridiculous, especially for the price. The only problem is they dont come with drum clips so you need to buy them seperately, but it is very worth it. Everything sounds absolutely professional, even before mixing, and they can take a beating. Get these mics, dont waste time with cheap imitations or spend too much on incredibly expensive sets (although the shure sm57-beta 52 set is amazing, as well)
Have had this set for over three years now. Have found the snare/tom mics work excellent as guitar amp mics also. The whole system resists feedback and the kick mic really kicks.
These mics are great, they pic up well, sound clear, little eq needed to make them sound nice, the one thing I'm not sure about yet is that on the drum mics the clips are apart of the mic, Not sure if its a good thing or bad thing yet, too new to tell. but If you want great audix mics for your kit, but can't afford the best audix has to offer (like me) this is just right for you.
