A complete sound reinforcement solution.

The system consists of a subwoofer and 2 cabs loaded with matched 10" 2-way speakers with 3/4" titanium diaphragm compression drivers and 90 x 40 constant directivity horns. The active 15" subwoofer cab houses a 3-channel amplifier and all the electronics required to run the system. The amplifier delivers 150W each to the 2-way speakers and 400W to the sub via Speakon NL4 connections. Designed for easy operation: just setup the system components; connect the signal, speaker, and power cables; and you're ready to go!

Built-in 3-channel amplifier

The 15" subwoofer enclosure is divided into 2 separate compartments. The front chamber serves as the cabinet for the 15" subwoofer. The rear chamber houses all of the system's electronic circuitry, which includes the amplification for all 3 components, power supply, and preamps. The 15" subwoofer has a power handling capability of 400W and a nominal impedance of 8 ohms.

10" 2-way speakers

Each 2-way cab is loaded with B-52's custom 10" speaker and a 3/4" titanium diaphragm compression driver, mounted to a 90 x 40 constant directivity horn. They're designed to be polemounted, can sit as stage monitors, and have built-in (3/8"”16 TPI) flying hardware for permanent installations. The front panel of the 2-way cabs is concave and fits perfectly into the subwoofer's front grille for easy transport. Each 2-way speaker has 150W power handling capability at 4 ohms.

Transporting the system

To transport the system, simply set the subwoofer on its casters and place the 2 - 10" 2-way speakers onto the subwoofer's front panel facing down. Secure them with the included locking strap by fastening it to the bar handles on the side on the subwoofer cabinet. Place the included cover over the entire system and you are ready to move the system with ease.

Lifetime warranty on cabinet construction and compression drivers. 5-year warranty on loudspeakers, and 2-year warranty on amplifier.

I personally have two of the B52 Matrix 1000's and they are one of best speaker systems I have ever experienced being a mobile DJ... Thanks B52!

The B52 is a very nice system...and the only thing that I think should be added to it wheel locks. Other than that, it a perfect mobile DJ system!

Good bang for the buck

I got this system for use for mobile DJing and while you can get about the same setup with separate amps/speakers, having it all contained and matched is a nice touch. Overall I've done several weddings and parties and if you've got under 150 people, this is the bomb. The only thing that's lacking is good bass form as one sub is adequate for weddings and small parties but if you want to really get a round boom sound, you'll need another sub. You'll also need EQ as the system flat is lacking a bit in warmth so it needs some tuning, but don't all systems :-)Overall, very pleased.DJ Bat

pretty nasty

By Mike-PfjPc

It's not too big and heavy. It's pretty darn loud for the size... get two of them to get even louder.. or use the "thru" xlr output to combine systems... no power amps... its a great system. buy it.

Basic system

This is a basic system that is not intended for high-end jobs.
