The B-52 MX-MN 15 is the ideal short-to-medium-distance stage monitor that provides 2 discrete angles. It uses a B-52 15-85 woofer with a 2-1/2" polyamide voice coil, and a 1"-exit titanium compression driver mounted on a constant directivity horn to produce big sound with 300W power handling capability. The rugged speaker cabinet from B-52's MX series features metal bar handles, 16-gauge perforated steel grille, rubber feet, and protective metal corners. Input connectors include 2 - 1/4" phone jacks and a genuine Neutrik NL4 connector. Covered with impact-resistant black carpet.

The B-52 monitor will be one of the best buys for any band that needs a good sound reinforcement. As I stated, it is heavy, but, it is strong and does the job. I just ordered my second one because two of these do the job of three or four of another brand. You will not be sorry you purchased this monitor!

I bought 4 B52 LX1515 dual 15" w/horn 800 rms cabinets in 2003 and paired them with 4 JBL SR series sub cabinets. They are still performing flawless so when the B52 monitors came out I bought 2 to expand my monitor setup. My other monitors are JBL MR series and the 2 B52's hold their own. Vocals are clear and guitars are natural and not colored or altereded in sound. I run sound for various events with different bands and the musicians have commented on how well the B52's perform. I have not looked inside of the monitors but did check inside the LX cabinets earlier to find them loaded with Selenium drivers. For the price they surpass expectations.

These things are loud, clear, well built. The horn being on the right side does make you have to be center on the axis to trully hear everything but it keeps it further away from vocal mics and helps reduce feedback. They are a really great value. Don't waste the hard earned cash on bigger names.
The features really are almost standard now. Locking and 1/4in inputs. The front grills are very heavy duty. Both my lead guitarist and I constantly prop our feet up on this things while on stage and have yet to even scuff one of these things!
They are freakin HEAVY, which is good! So far they are the best monitors I've ever used.
Knowing now what they are like.... I would have paid twice as much.

Read comments about buzzing noise. My unit was the driver being loose on the horn. A little bit of teflon tape on the threads and tightened back down. 5 Minute fix. Works and Sounds Great!!! Cant beat it for the $

I'm a drummer and I play the casino circuit with many bands and the sound provided is top of the line JBL monitors on stage.I have my own side project where I use these bad baby's. These B 52 monitors are comparable to the JBL's that handle a 1000 watts.I like heavy kik,snare and bass guitar in my mix and these monitors deliver. The guys in my band say they dig these monitors. These are well seasoned and well traveled road dogs with lots of experience. They happen to be JBL guys and always compliment my B 52 P.A. and monitors.Heavy construction and big sound. Lots of low end capability.

I've used B52 subs for years and they rock, they are heavy duty and produce a great low end sound with punch, when i seen that a monitor was available, of course i had to get one, the price was very affordable and at first i thought it might not be as well constructed as the subs but for the money, i figured it still should do the job. the 300w rms kinda bothered me at first (was afraid i would blow it, i use a 500w rms carvin BX and it rocks!!!!) when i got it, hooked it up, the sound was unreal, the tone of my bass was exactly the tone i have been searchin for and with the acoustic guitar, the result was the same, solid and clear with plenty of volume in fact, the other guys i play with liked it so much - they each bought one!!! What does that tell you NOTE: It is a heavy thing but, the quality is there, you will not be dissapointed

I bought a B52 15" monitor for the price, expecting medium quality. Not so. I was so impressed with it, I bought three more and plan to add another one. These are rugged and built to last. It puts out very smooth sound and even sound (no spikes or troughs) which is noticeably better than comparably priced monitors. Buy one and you'll want another.

Just got these to replace two Eon's that I was borrowing. They sound really good and I like the angle, it puts the sound up in your face. This is my first experience with the brand and I am impressed with the quality. The only thing is the weight, they are heavy.

Here's, I guess you can say: "Another awesome product from B-52". B-52 makes really great speakers and subs I was just waiting till this site would put out some monitors by B-52. You love the others: why not add a set of these to your collection? I have been satisified with the other B-52 products I own and have used and I would concider these if I ever need them.
